Zentera Systems Announces CenturyLink as First Telecom Integration for its Cloud over IP Platform -- Zentera CoIP’s Security Capabilities Enable Telcos to Provide Infrastructure Security across Multiple Clouds

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 21, 2017 -- Zentera Systems, Inc., the leader in multicloud security and networking, today announced that its infrastructure security solution for the multicloud ecosystem now integrates with telecommunications industry cloud service providers, delivering defense-in-depth that secures production workloads across managed service datacenters, as well as multiple clouds, without requiring changes to existing infrastructure. As its first announced integration, the Zentera Cloud over IP® (CoIP®) solution is now available through the CenturyLink Cloud Marketplace Provider Program.

“At CenturyLink, we sit at the heart of enterprise networking and cloud-based applications,” said David Shacochis, Vice President of Cloud Platform at CenturyLink. “It's an amazing time for software-defined network innovation, and Zentera is an example of agile network management technology that business customers can incorporate into their hybrid cloud architecture. Having Zentera’s technology on the CenturyLink Cloud Marketplace enables customers to quickly purchase and easily deploy their solution through automation, and put it on their CenturyLink bill.”

CoIP is an on-demand virtual network overlay that provides multicloud security and networking together with network encryption, east-west microsegmentation and application whitelisting. It is IP-network and cloud-agnostic in its design, supporting virtual machines (VMs), containers and compute endpoints, and can be deployed rapidly without interfering with existing infrastructure or security measures.

“CoIP is unique in its ability to integrate its defense-in-depth security capabilities with CenturyLink’s telecom-grade cloud service offering,” said Jaushin Lee, Zentera’s founder and CEO. “With CoIP, CenturyLink offers a complete security solution that includes overlay service connection isolation, shielding and filtering across widely used clouds such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. This integration complements our existing integrations with industry-leading security providers as we expand our profile in the multicloud ecosystem.”

The CenturyLink Cloud Marketplace Provider Program allows participating technology companies to integrate their solutions with the CenturyLink Cloud platform. These add-on and business-ready solutions are available to CenturyLink’s cloud, hosting and network customers.

Zentera Systems will be participating in the CenturyLink 2017 Alliances Ascend event, Feb. 22-24, San Diego, following its demonstrations of CoIP in production at the RSA Conference 2017 where Zentera won the Start-up of the Year Silver Award in the 2017 Global Excellence Awards®.

CoIP for CenturyLink is available through the CenturyLink Cloud Marketplace. See the website for more information. Zentera’s CoIP platform is also available through select partners.
