Providence, RI, November 4, 2009 -- BatchBlue Software, provider of BatchBook, a social customer Relevant Products/Services relationship manager (CRM Relevant Products/Services) for small businesses and entrepreneurs, today announced the debut of BatchBook for Sales, a new, customized web-based CRM solution created specifically with sales professionals in mind. BatchBook for Sales provides salespeople who are establishing, building and fostering relationships with their customers with increased visibility into the current status of those associations to more effectively and personably service those accounts.

Developed with the direct input of an industry advisory group, this latest version of BatchBook provides multiple options for sales professionals to adapt features for their particular needs. They are also able to filter contacts and deals in multiple ways to perform batch actions, including tagging, assigning tasks or updating the status of contacts. BatchBook's flexibility allows small businesses and entrepreneur users to quickly and easily build their own system without needing a technical background in building databases.

Some of the custom features in BatchBook for Sales include:

Deals management: Set customized fields with information such as the value of deal or their status including won, lost or pending.

SuperTags for Deals: Track information that's unique to a specific Deal or industry.

Calendar: Provides a high-level look at your BatchBook activity including Events, To-Dos, Communications and SuperTag dates.

Charts: Tell at a glance what Deals are won, pending or lost from the BatchBook Dashboard.

Permissions-based contact management: Control access to sales records by defining which users can see which Contacts; assign Contacts, Communications or To-Dos to individuals or teams within the sales organization.

"The addition of BatchBook for Sales gives sales professionals the deals management tools they are familiar with along with the existing BatchBook features and integrations," said BatchBlue President Pamela O'Hara. "Now businesses can follow conversations in the real places they are having them; on the web, in e-mail, in social media and with their support Relevant Products/Services teams and turn these conversations into customers."
